We would like to collaborate with authors on some short audio dramas. Here’s the offer:
- Send us the script for an audioplay. (Or screenplay that doesn’t rely on visuals.)
- If we like it, we’ll record and produce the audio using our talented cast and professional studio.
- Before doing the above, we’ll confirm the arrangement with you by signing an agreement. You’ll be granted license to distribute the audio production however you like, commercial or otherwise. You retain full ownership and rights to your writing. Full attribution will be required for you (author), and us (director, producer, audio engineer, actors).
- No money changes hands (we both work for free on this one).

What kind of scripts are we looking for?
- Fiction. Nearly any genre (e.g. science fiction, horror, dramatic) will work, because we are trying to demonstrate a wide range of capabilities.
- One to five minutes in length.
- Conveys story well in pure audio form (no reliance on visuals).
- PG-rated. Avoid swearing, political, sexual, or controversial topics. (We use these for demos and have to take care not to offend.)
- Self-contained – the listener should be able to understand the piece without needing further context. A scene excerpted from a longer work will probably be too confusing to use.
- One to four characters.
- Formatted as audioplay/screenplay–PDF format.
Do you have something to submit? Please send us your script attached to an email with subject “audioplay” to info@seespacelabs.com. We absolutely will not use your script without first contacting you and signing an agreement.
