9/13 Whiteboard
I’m on a sabbatical from the day job, which was writing software for cars to talk to computer servers. I wanted time to try out some things that needed proper effort and concentration from me to carry through. I’ve been working with Kinects and projector screens for over a year, and have found some very cool uses for them. I live in an artist’s loft at the Bemis Building in Seattle, which gives me an easy opportunity to set up and demo at the Bemis Art Show. So that’s what I’m working on now–a thing I call the Machine Horror House. To plan my time out, I wrote down a rough schedule on a whiteboard–all the things I have to do in the weeks left before the show.
Shit, no time for long baths and chess in the park. Things need building!
