Flaming ass.
The HDMI cables came to my doorstep this morning. So the first thing I did, even before coffee, was jump on the ladder and plug cables in so I could finally, FINALLY see all three screens showing something. Two of the screens looked garbled like the picture shown to the right. That shit freaked me out! I was getting angry at some Chinese assembly line worker for fucking up my cables. Then I unplugged the cables and replugged them back in. Problem solved.
Screen output from the rendering boxes is beautiful–way better than what I had at the last show. So I’ve reached my “It’s going to be alright moment,” in the project. There are still lots of things that can and will go wrong. But I’ll have something good to show by end of the month.
