My buddy Jason lent me a Rodes NT2 microphone. I wanted to compare it to the Shure SM58 I normally use, so I ran this test. In particular, I wanted to see how good the Rodes would be at keeping out the sound of someone talking about 5 feet away. There are four test samples here separated by beeps.
- Test #1 – Rodes NT2
- Test #2 – Rodes NT2 with background talking
- Test #3 – SM58
- Test #4 – SM58 with background talking
