…there is this guy called “Mapbot” that monitors all of your comings and goings. Sebastian Caceres sent me this awesome background today. Mapbot on the left is missing eyes, mouth, and arm, because those are animated parts coming later from Firoz Panna. And the empty “checkerboard” space you can see on the right is where an animated map will be inserted. If you visit Mapbot at the Machine Horror House event, he’ll be over 8 feet tall, and have giant eyeballs the size of a whale’s. And he will stare at you with those eyeballs because Kinect cameras will instruct the animation software as to your position.
